Atizapán de Zaragoza delivers around 5 thousand free medical certificates / @Pedro_RVillegas @GobAtizapan >>>

#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- Since the first week of August, the Government of Atizapán de Zaragoza, through the Department of Social Development, began issuing around 5 thousand free medical certificates, in order to support the family economy during the back to school period.

The delivery of these documents, an indispensable requirement to enroll children in their respective schools, began on Saturday, August 5 and Sunday, August 6. During these days, support was provided to the population of the San Juan Ixtacala Plano Norte and Ampliación Profesor Cristóbal Higuera neighborhoods.

According to the Director of Social Development, Julio Cesar Martinez Hernandez, the instruction of the Municipal President, Pedro Rodriguez Villegas, was to support the expenses that arise in the return to school.

«Every weekend we are taking to different communities of Atizapán de Zaragoza the medical certificates for the back to school. In addition to haircuts and eye exams. On instructions from our Municipal President, Pedro Rodriguez, we want to support the family economy and contribute to the education of children,» he said.

The free medical certificates, which are endorsed by the DIF System, the State Government, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Public Education and the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), have a cost that varies between 90 and 120 pesos, depending on the location.

In addition, children and young people have the option of getting a haircut and an eye exam completely free of charge. Likewise, they have access to an oral check-up performed by DIF personnel.

According to the Director of Social Development, it was decided to offer this type of services on Saturdays and Sundays to take advantage of parents’ work breaks to accompany their children.
