Mayor Santiago Taboada kicks off resurfacing works in Benito Juárez / @STaboadaMx @BJAlcaldia >>>

#BenitoJuárez, #CDMX.- With the objective of maintaining the quality of life of Benito Juárez residents, the mayor of Benito Juárez, Santiago Taboada, announced the beginning of the resurfacing work in different streets of 13 neighborhoods in the district, which will benefit more than 10,000 residents and the floating population.

«We are here in the Narvarte neighborhood with the neighbors, initiating this year’s resurfacing works. We are going to do many streets that have required for many years a very good maintenance and obviously we are very grateful to the neighbors for their cooperation. The most important thing is that there will be no potholes on your street and we are working together with the neighbors so that Benito Juarez continues to be the best place to live,» he said.

It is worth mentioning that these actions are part of a program to modernize and maintain the asphalt in secondary roads of the municipality, which will rehabilitate 50 thousand square meters of the district, which is equivalent to almost twice the length of Insurgentes Avenue.

For the laying of the new asphalt 39 million pesos were allocated from the mayor’s budget, with which different sections of the following streets will be intervened: Poussin, Campana, Cádiz, Augusto Rodín, Ana María Mier, Ernestina Larraizar, Lorenzo Rodríguez, Moras, Rébsamen, Mier y Pesado, Rodríguez Saro, Calle Dos, Calle Tres, Calle Uno, San Lorenzo, Dr. Barragán, Dr. Barragán, Los Ángeles, Casas Grandes and Anaxágoras.

The Mayor of Benito Juarez stated that he will continue to invest in public works and infrastructure in order to continue being the best city to live in Mexico City.
