#EstadoDeMéxico.- One of the objectives of the state administration is to improve the mobility conditions of the people of the State of Mexico, which is why it is working on programs and actions focused on the road network and mass public transportation systems, in order to reduce travel times and costs, providing a safe and efficient service for the families of the state, said Governor Alfredo Del Mazo Maza.

«With this, not counting the Trolleybus-Chalco Santa Martha, we have doubled the number of kilometers of mass public transportation in these six years in the State of Mexico, this allows us to help many families to have a much more efficient transportation system to get to their workplaces, to school, for the movements they have to do on a daily basis,» he said.

During the presentation of advances in mobility, Governor Alfredo Del Mazo indicated that one of the most emblematic works being carried out is the Chalco-Santa Martha Trolleybus, a project that is being worked on jointly by the Government of Mexico, the State of Mexico, Mexico City and the municipalities.

He emphasized that it is a transportation system that connects both entities, and at the same time, brings users closer to Mexico City’s mass transportation, and reduces travel times from two hours to 33 minutes in the 18.5 kilometers of route in 13 stations, serving 120 thousand users in the first stage and in its maturity stage will reach about 230 thousand, and reported that this work will be completed in March 2024.
