#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- Next Friday, the government of Tecámac, through the municipal DIF, will conclude the delivery of free school shoes in the eight sites that were set up, where just over 45 thousand pairs of shoes have already been distributed to children between three and 14 years of age.

The municipal president, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, called on parents who registered their children to come and receive this benefit, which is part of the Mi Gran Esperanza program, which is applied without distinction or discrimination.

She informed that once this stage is concluded, the cases that presented any problem in their registration or any other inconvenience of the parents or guardians in this process will be reviewed.

She emphasized that this is the third consecutive year that children receive their school shoes for free, which represents a support for thousands of families in this territory, and said that his government allocates important resources for social programs thanks to the payment of contributions and the good management of the public coffers.

The delivery of footwear began on August 7 and will conclude on Friday, August 25 at the venues of the administrative unit Los Reyes Acozac, Convention Center, Agora de Aranjuez, Centro MIEL Urbi Villa del Campo, Unidad Médica DIF Mandarinas, Deportivo Sierra Hermosa, la Cuchara Héroes Tecámac and Procuraduría Municipal de Protección de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes (Municipal Attorney’s Office for the Protection of Children and Adolescents).

For the first year, free medical, nutrition, psychology and dental services are also offered by the municipal DIF. Eighty percent of those registered in the program requested a medical appointment.
