#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- On Firefighter’s Day, the Mayor of Boca del Río, Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, recognized the bravery and vocation of the elements that make up the Heroic Corps of Firefighters, whom he visited this Tuesday at the central station.

He recalled that both firefighters and paramedics continuously risk their integrity to take care of the lives of the families of Boqueña and of this suburban area.

«Your work, effort and dedication make us feel proud and grateful with the performance you show every day, you are an example to continue building the best city of Veracruz,» said the Mayor.

He also recognized the efforts of the Board of Trustees presided by Antonio Chedrahui Bolado, since thanks to their leadership and performance, Boca del Río has a first class corps.

The Fire Department was formed in 1979, today it has two stations, 35 basic elements and eight volunteers, who provide service to the municipalities of Boca del Río, Veracruz, Medellín de Bravo, Alvarado and other cities further away when necessary.
