Medicines donated to the DIF of Atizapán de Zaragoza and the «Cruz Roja» / @Pedro_RVillegas @GobAtizapan >>>

#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- With the objective of ensuring dignified access to health care and contributing to improve the quality of life of the citizens, the Rotary Club Renacimiento Satélite donated 1,375 boxes of medicines to the Municipal DIF System of Atizapán de Zaragoza and the Red Cross of the municipality.

Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, Municipal President, and Patricia Arévalo Rubio, Honorary President of the Municipal DIF System of Atizapán de Zaragoza, attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, it was explained that these medicines, which together amount to 710,000 pesos, will be delivered in the medical assistance days carried out by the Municipal DIF System, in addition to covering -in proportion- the shortage of the National Health System in terms of access to medicines.

«Thank you, again, for joining efforts, for this benefit for the population of Atizapan. It is good that the Renacimiento Rotary Club has done all this work in Atizapán de Zaragoza. I hope they continue with this enthusiasm and dedication,» said the Mayor.

For her part, the President of DIF thanked the Rotary Club for their support and the coordinated work they have achieved.

«All this medicine that you are kindly donating will be for all the vulnerable families in our municipality. Day by day we are working together with the City Council in the medical days.

«It will be very useful because it is to be able to have access to these medicines that are so expensive in the market, it is an incentive so that (the people of Atizapá) can have a better quality of life. We are here to work, to improve these conditions and to serve in the best way those who need it most,» said Arévalo Rubio.
