#IMSS.- The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) has had increases in all its service indicators in the northern region of the country, today it has built legacies and it is time to implement them, said the General Director, Zoé Robledo.

During the closing ceremony of the Fifth Northern Regional Meeting, held at the facilities of the Fideicomiso Complejo Tres Centurias (FICOTRECE), he pointed out that after the pandemic, the vaccination processes and the recovery of services, it is necessary to return to the original mandate of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador: to improve waiting times, treatment, transparency and institutional transformation in order to continue innovating.

Zoé Robledo assured that the Institute’s efforts are focused on implementing the digital ecosystem, electronic history to consult medical notes from any unit, the System of Attention to the Entitled, attention to children with cancer in the State Reference Centers for the attention of Children with Cancer (OncoCREAN), having licenses in all hospitals for the operation of the Infarction Code, among others.

He highlighted that in the northern region, which includes the states of Aguascalientes, Coahuila, Chihuahua, Durango, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas and Zacatecas, the number of doctors and specialists hired by the IMSS has increased by 13 percent, as well as the number of beds and consulting rooms, which goes hand in hand with the growth in the number of people entitled to them.

«Now is the time to make a good closing with the historic investments and the resources that have been provided to the different delegations for equipment, to cover vacancies, increase staffing, conservation and maintenance,» he said.
