#Irapuato, #Gto.- The Guanajuato countryside is the main source of food for families and one of the economic sectors that contributes most to competitiveness in Irapuato and the entire state.

For this reason, municipal government authorities recognized the importance of forums such as the 2nd Technology Transfer Meeting, which will be held until August 31 at the Inforum.

Lorena Alfaro García, president of Irapuato, emphasized that, with these spaces, the producers know strategies and tools to increase their productivity, modernize and about the sustainability of the land on which they work.

«I want to recognize the Guanajuato Produce Foundation, Marisol, because together with the Ministry of Agri-Food and Rural Development, headed by Secretary Paulo Bañuelos, they have been promoting this strategy to encourage the production of alternative crops, which allows them to save water, care for the soil and, of course, increase profits for producers,» she said.
