#EstadoDeMéxico.- During the six years of government and in order to respond to the commitment to those most in need, a network of social programs was built which, due to its results, is a national reference, thus configuring the «Strong Families» strategy, which supported more than 7 million beneficiaries, of which six out of 10 are women.

This strategy was consolidated as a social policy based on a model that prioritized human development and respect for social rights and placed families at the center of decisions and women as the pillar of these, promoting co-responsibility in improving the quality of life.

According to the analysis of poverty measurement carried out by the National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy (CONEVAL), between 2020 and 2022, the population in poverty in the State of Mexico went from 8 million 342 thousand to 7 million 427 thousand, which represented a reduction of more than 915 thousand 300 people, equivalent to the joint total of 12 entities.

This meant that approximately one out of every 10 people who overcame poverty in the country belonged to the State of Mexico. In addition, poverty among Mexicans was reduced by six percentage points, from 48.9 to 42.9 percent, which allowed it to surpass entities such as Michoacán, Aguascalientes and Zacatecas.

The Salario Rosa, a new generation social program, benefited 700,000 housewives and is part of the legacy of the current administration; it placed the women of Mexico at the center of public policies and is the only one in Mexico that promotes the talents and abilities of women.
