CIEPS renders activity report at fourth regular meeting of its board of directors / @Edomex >>>

#Economía.-Marihño Cárdenas, Executive Secretary of the Council for Research and Evaluation of Social Policy (CIEPS), presented the report of activities corresponding to the period of July and August 2023.

During the Fourth Ordinary Session of the Board of Directors of this organization, he presented the main achievements and progress of the substantive activities carried out by the public servants assigned to the different areas.

He emphasized that the CIEPS, an auxiliary agency of the Secretariat of Social Development, is committed to strengthening social policy evaluation exercises, as well as to providing training and advice on social and human development; therefore, courses are offered to municipalities and government agencies to provide them with tools that enable them to understand the Logical Framework Methodology.

He added that, in order for the areas executing social programs to reinforce the viability and efficiency diagnoses and, likewise, to follow up on the results of their evaluations, the results of the Multidimensional Poverty Measurement of the National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy (CONEVAL) 2022 were shared with them.

On the other hand, he referred to the importance of reinforcing coordination ties with academic institutions and expert organizations in social policy; therefore, two Participation Agreements were signed, one with Gobernova, and the other with the National Academy of Evaluators of Mexico, AC (ACEVAL).
