#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- As part of the actions taken by the Boca del Río City Hall to eliminate mosquito breeding sites and reduce the spread of dengue fever, the massive breeding site elimination brigade «Boca contra el Dengue» continues to travel through the various neighborhoods of the municipality.

As recently announced by Mayor Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, the brigade contemplates the decacharrization of areas, house-to-house abatization and fumigation to prevent the dengue-transmitting mosquito from continuing to reproduce.

«These are actions that we have undertaken since January in neighborhoods such as Las Vegas, Carranza First and Second Section, Paso Colorado and San Jose Novillero, are some in which we have made up to four rounds and therefore has not increased the problem of dengue.

«We are also grateful for the support of Jurisdicción Sanitaria VIII, with whom we are collaborating to carry out this brigade of massive elimination of hatcheries,» said the mayor.

This week the brigade was carried out in the neighborhoods of Primero de Mayo Sur and Primero de Mayo Norte, where with the support of the residents the area was cleaned and fumigated.
