#GobiernoDeMéxico.- The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and the Governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, supervised the progress of the construction of the Lechería-Aeropuerto Internacional «Felipe Ángeles» (AIFA) Suburban Train, which is a giant step towards strengthening mobility and development in the State of Mexico.

This project will impact millions of Mexicans by becoming a fast, safe and efficient transportation alternative, as it will connect the AIFA with Buenavista, in downtown Mexico City, in 39 minutes.

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s commitment to the development of the State of Mexico is reflected in this type of projects, as they are designed to offer a better quality of life to millions of families.

The overall progress of the project is 46 percent and it is expected to be ready by the middle of next year. This project, in addition to being environmentally friendly, has generated jobs and its presence will detonate the growth of AIFA and the entire region, by offering safe, fast and economical transportation.

The Government of the State of Mexico maintains the importance of working in coordination with the Government of the Republic, since teamwork increases the impact of actions aimed at citizens, promotes regional integration and access to opportunities for growth and well-being.
