#GobiernoDeMéxico.- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador met at the National Palace with Amos J. Hochstein, Special Presidential Coordinator for Global Infrastructure and Energy Security of the U.S. government.

In a publication on his social networks, he stated that the conversation during the meeting was «long and interesting» and that «it is essential to continue planning together the placement of new investments and the creation of jobs», even though economic and commercial relations between the two countries have been strengthened in the current administration as never before.

«We had a long and interesting conversation with Amos J. Hochstein, Special Presidential Coordinator for Global Infrastructure and Energy Security of the U.S. government. Even though economic and trade relations between our countries have been strengthened as never before, it is essential to continue planning together for the placement of new investments and the creation of jobs.»

Alicia Bárcena Ibarra, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, and Kenneth Salazar, U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, participated in the dialogue.
