#SICT.- In order to continue the innovative drive for development and greater opportunities in the south-southeast region of the country, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT), through the Mexican Space Agency (AEM), participated in the «Yucatan i6» Congress.

The general director of the AEM, Salvador Landeros Ayala, explained that this and many other activities are part of a comprehensive program of strategic projects of the Federal Government for this region, with which historically there has been a development debt.

«The SICT, through the AEM, continues to redouble its efforts to promote infrastructure, technology with national capabilities, and innovations that contribute to finding new solutions to the development challenges of the south-southeast region of the country,» he stressed.

The meeting emphasized the importance of cultivating new ideas and skills in the youth to develop increasingly sustainable, technological and inclusive societies, and to innovate regionally and globally, in the current digital transformation of our country and the world.

For his part, the general coordinator of Human Capital Formation of the AEM, Carlos Duarte Muñoz, highlighted the «Colmena» project, developed with proudly Mexican talent, and which already has our country, to send micro robots to the lunar surface, ready to be launched in a few months.
