Esmeralda Vallejo achieves construction of dialysis clinic in Ecatepec / @FerVilchisMx @Ecatepec >>>

#Ecatepec, #Edoméx.- The Government of Ecatepec in coordination with the municipal DIF and the Urban Development and Public Works Department are building the first dialysis clinic specialized in the care of patients with kidney failure, located in the Progreso de la Union neighborhood.

The head of the Municipal DIF System, Esmeralda Vallejo Martinez, informed that the works are being carried out in a building that previously served as a library, which is being adapted and remodeled to become a specialized dialysis clinic.

The new facilities will have 10 beds to attend citizens who require blood purification due to the inability of their kidneys to do so and thus improve their health and living conditions. It is expected that at least 200 procedures will be performed each month.

She assured that said clinic will be run by the DIF and the municipal public health area, due to the fact that specialized treatments in renal diseases and trained doctors are required for the care of patients.

«We are going to participate and support as much as we can in the health area scheme, since those of us who have a family member with these needs dialysis is required and we know that sometimes that can be complicated,» said municipal president Fernando Vilchis Contreras.

He indicated that the objective is that the residents of Ecatepec with a kidney problem can attend to receive treatment, having the appropriate facilities and tools to carry out dialysis.
