The Government of the State of Mexico will send more humanitarian aid for the victims of Hurricane Otis / @delfinagomeza @Edomex >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Secretary General of Government, Horacio Duarte Olivares, informed that the delivery of humanitarian aid for the families affected by Hurricane Otis in Guerrero will continue; one more trailer will leave today with food and supplies collected during the weekend at the Collection Center, installed at the Government Palace.

The Secretary General of Government pointed out that as instructed by Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez, permanent communication is maintained with the Government of Guerrero for the delivery of the supplies that the people of Mexico have donated for our brothers and sisters in Guerrero.

During the 32nd Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace, held at the Government Palace, Duarte Olivares said that actions are being coordinated with the municipalities of the State of Mexico for the collection and delivery of the supplies that have been collected in their localities.

He also recalled that on Saturday, October 28, Maestra Delfina Gómez led the flag out of 154 tons of humanitarian aid.

He also recalled that elements of the Emergency Service of the State of Mexico (SUEM) were deployed to the International Airport of Mexico City (AICM), where they assist in the transfer of serious patients to hospitals in Mexico City or Toluca; as well as three helicopters, backhoes, cleaning machinery, a water treatment plant, tanker trucks and power plants, among others.

The Secretary General of Government affirmed that in cases of national emergency, the power to serve is fundamental to support those who need it most.

The Coordination Table was also attended by Andrés Andrade Téllez, Secretary of Security; as well as members of the Attorney General’s Office; the Secretary of the Navy; the Secretary of National Defense; the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico; the State Coordination of the National Guard in the State of Mexico; the National Intelligence Center in the State of Mexico; the Human Rights Commission of the State of Mexico; the General Coordination of Civil Protection and Integral Risk Management; among other federal and municipal authorities.
