#Economía.- The Ministry of Economy deeply regrets the loss of human lives and the material damage caused by Hurricane Otis in Guerrero, and on instructions from President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the head of this agency, Raquel Buenrostro, and her team met with businessmen in Mexico City, who have committed not to increase the price or speculate with products and materials that are indispensable at this time.

The Mexican Government agencies are working closely and intensely so that the state of Guerrero, and especially the port of Acapulco, which was the most damaged area, can be rehabilitated in the shortest possible time.

Thanks to the good understanding between the Mexican Government and the business sector, they will work jointly and in coordination in the implementation of a plan for the supply and distribution of materials, goods and products necessary for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of hospitals, homes, schools, drainage, paving, public lighting, hotels and restaurants and all the necessary infrastructure so that there is no shortage of what is needed and there is a speedy recovery of the most affected area.
