Government of the State of Mexico prepares to send vaccines to victims of hurricane Otis / @delfinagomeza @Edomex >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- At the Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace, where the results of security actions in the state were analyzed, authorities informed Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez that they are preparing to send the biological vaccine to the state of Guerrero.

This action will be carried out in coordination with the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar) and Mexican health authorities.

In addition, it was informed that a collaboration scheme is being sought with the entity’s Supply Centers for the collection of food and supplies in charge of the Secretariat of Economic Development (Sedeco).

During the meeting held at the Government Palace, it was mentioned that thanks to the call of Mrs. Delfina Gómez, 230 tons of food supplies and another 120 tons of medicines and healing materials have been sent.

In this sense, the State Governor acknowledged the favorable response of the people of Mexico, and asked them to continue supporting the people of Guerrero, through the Collection Center installed in the Government Palace, which will be open until the contingency is over.

«In the Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace, in addition to analyzing security actions in our state, we reviewed the continuity of aid to our brothers in Guerrero. With the support of Sanofi, we will be sending tetanus vaccines to Guerrero, in coordination with Sedena and Semar. Guerrero needs us!», shared Governor Delfina Gómez on her social networks.

At Table number 35, Maestra Delfina Gómez Álvarez was accompanied by Horacio Duarte Olivares, Secretary General of Government, and Andrés Andrade Téllez, Secretary of Security.

As well as representatives of the Sedena; the Semar; the State Coordination of the National Guard in the State of Mexico (GN); the Attorney General’s Office (FGR); the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM); the National Intelligence Center in the State of Mexico (CNI); the Human Rights Commission of the State of Mexico (Codhem); the General Coordination of Civil Protection and Integral Risk Management, among other federal and municipal authorities.
