Governor Diego Sinhue inaugurates Expo Agroalimentaria in Irapuato / @diegosinhue @gobiernogto >>>

#EstadoDeGuanajuato.- Guanajuato’s countryside is one of our economic pillars, because agribusiness is the second source of our exports and also of the entity’s Gross Domestic Product, said the Governor of the State, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, at the inauguration of Expo Agroalimentaria 2023 in its XXVIII edition.

This event once again places Guanajuato as the nerve center for the growth of the agri-food sector, which brings together the most important actors that set the course of the sector and its comprehensive and sustainable development. Its focus is the B2B business meeting among all its participants.

During the four days of the event, the presence of 120 thousand attendees is estimated, including Agri-Food Production Units, world leaders, as well as national and international suppliers and traders. More than 650 exhibitors, 50 conferences and international pavilions.

This event presents in its 62-hectare venue, a sample of the entire agri-food sector; exhibiting its experimental field with high-tech greenhouses and demonstration plots, as well as the main technological innovations, indoor and outdoor exhibition areas making it a complete and unique event.

In this 2023 edition, the support from the State Government is 15.2 million pesos.

Piero Zaratinni Aceves, President of the Board of Trustees for the Agricultural Development of Guanajuato, presented an acknowledgement to Governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, thanking him for his support throughout the State Administration, as a token of gratitude for his support to the sector and in the organization of Expo Agroalimentaria.
