Zoé Robledo meets with Quintana Roo officials; oversees construction of IMSS Bienestar Hospital in Tulum / @zoerobledo @Tu_IMSS >>>

#IMSS.- The Director General of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), Zoé Robledo, held a working meeting with officials from the government of Quintana Roo to discuss the progress of the National Agreement for the Federalization of the Health System for Wellbeing throughout the state.

Zoé Robledo pointed out that in Quintana Roo there are around 854 thousand people who lack social security and will benefit from IMSS Bienestar services.

«It is time to work in unity, in coordination, all together, because today Mexicans, the people of Quintana Roo need a profound unity to achieve the transformation that is so necessary,» he said.

He informed that since June of this year, 1,253 million pesos (million pesos) have been invested in the maintenance of 58 Health Centers, out of the 205 existing ones, as well as in 8 out of 18 hospitals and 854 million pesos in equipment in 4 hospital units.

The General Director of Social Security thanked the Governor of Quintana Roo, Mara Lezama Espinosa, for her commitment to the transformation of the health system.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Celida Duque Molina, Director of Medical Benefits of the IMSS; Flavio Carlos Rosado, Secretary of Health in the state; Eugenio Segura Vazquez, Secretary of Finance and Planning.

Also present were the head of IMSS in Quintana Roo, Dr. Enrique Ureña Bogarín, and Dr. Moisés Toledo Pensamiento, state coordinator of IMSS-BIENESTAR, among other health sector authorities.
