#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- With mariachi music, applause and a meal, tenants of the Zaragoza Market thanked the Municipal President, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, for the delivery of the rehabilitation of the roof of this building, an icon of Atizapán de Zaragoza.

«It gives us a lot of light. It helps us, the tenants, in the afternoon, with the light and the view that was given; (it) completely renovated the market», said María Vianet Rodríguez, tenant.

«When the customers came in, it was very dark and the market looked sad. Now, with the light, it was a completely radical change».

This is because the asbestos that covered the roof was removed and a new one was installed that gives more and better visibility.

«This market, so full of anecdotes and traditions, has seen no less than 4 generations. On behalf of all my fellow tenants and the benefited population, I am grateful for the replacement of the roofing sheets in our Zaragoza Market,» said Elsa Castillo Rojas, President of the Zaragoza Market Board of Directors.

«With this, Mr. President, it is clear that we can trust you, that you are a man of your word and that your commitment is with all Atizapenses, because you have brought works and progress to communities and subdivisions as well as to economic entities such as ours.

For his part, Mayor Pedro Rodriguez said that the work also means recognition for all the merchants who have spent a lifetime serving the people of Atizapan in the Market, which was inaugurated 51 years ago.
