Benito Juárez Mayor’s Office delivers financial support to neighbors suffering from cancer / @STaboadaMx @BJAlcaldia >>>

#BenitoJuárez, #CDMX.- As part of the commitment that the Benito Juarez Mayor’s Office has with vulnerable groups, economic support was delivered to 140 neighbors who suffer from some type of cancer and require or are in the process of treatment, with the aim of reducing the economic impact of the families.

The beneficiaries of the social action called «BJuntos contra el cáncer» who complied with the guidelines, who were selected through transparent calls and clear rules, received 25 thousand pesos each, of which 98 are women and 42 are men.

In this sense, Jaime Isael Mata Salas, in charge of the mayor’s office, pointed out that this year a budgetary effort was made in order to support more Benitojuarenes compared to the previous year, going from 2 million 25 thousand pesos to 3.5 million.

«This action seeks to contribute to the ordinary and extraordinary expenses of the families who suffer from this terrible disease… with a lot of heart we reiterate the commitment of this administration to continue contributing to the development and better conditions of the neighbors of our beloved mayor’s office.»

For her part, Adriana Angulo, a resident of the district who had the disease detected in a timely manner thanks to the free sessions carried out in the mayor’s office, through the agreement signed with FUCAM, expressed her gratitude for the commitment to this cause. «I was diagnosed with cancer in a mastography truck that FUCAM did for me in the Benito Juárez delegation and they have supported me from the first moment both the delegation and FUCAM with the treatments, it is incredible. Here I am coming out of the treatment thanks to the detection they did.»
