Alfa González requests CDMX Congress 3 billion 114 million pesos for 2024 budget / @alfagonzalezm @TlalpanAl >>>

#Tlalpán, #CDMX.- Mayoress Alfa González Magallanes requested the approval of the proposed Expenditure Budget for Fiscal Year 2024 in the amount of 3 billion 114 million pesos, which will give priority to the hydraulic network and public safety.

Alfa González pointed out that although the 3 thousand 114 million pesos represents a nominal increase of 7.9% with respect to 2023, it is insufficient, since it is earmarked for specific expenses, which leaves only an operating margin of 2.8%, so that the increase does not even represent the accumulated inflation.

Before the legislators of said Commission, the Mayor mentioned that an additional 581.6 million pesos are required to replace the hydraulic network in the Coapa area, since it has reached its useful life and needs to be replaced urgently to avoid leaks, sinkholes, damage to roads and reduce water shortages, for which an investment of 527.7 million pesos is required.

The remaining 53.9 million pesos will be used to purchase 34 patrol cars and hire 68 new security personnel to reinforce the presence in the quadrants of Mexico City’s largest municipality.

During the working meeting with the Budget and Public Account Commission of the Mexico City Congress, the Mayoress explained that in these two years of work, the needs and demands of citizens have been met regardless of colors or parties, guaranteeing the rights of Tlalpa’s citizens and complying with their obligations, in order to achieve the goals set.

She emphasized that the improvements in Tlalpa’s infrastructure benefit everyone and even the opposition congressmen, who use it to carry out their legislative activities.
