Justice must stop being a privilege for a few: Mayoress Mariela Gutiérrez / @MarielaGtzEsc @MejorTecamac >>>

#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The municipal president of Tecámac, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, affirmed that the transformation of the Judiciary is still pending, to fight corruption so that justice stops being a privilege for a few.

At the closing ceremony of the 2nd International Congress on Electoral and Parliamentary Law, at the Center for Innovation, Culture and Technology (CICyT) of the UAM, located in Tecámac, she highlighted that for the last five years the country has been experiencing changes in social, labor, security and health matters, which have resulted in the conquest of new rights for Mexicans.

Before students of Political Science and Law, Gutiérrez Escalante said that the judicial model and especially the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation must stop being a dome of de facto power that opposes social progress.

She invited the young attendees to be attentive to the debates on political, economic and social processes as part of the transformation that our country is undergoing, which demands taking a proactive position and an informed opinion, since we are living a time of important changes with the arrival of the first progressive government.

At the congress organized by the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, the municipal president recalled that in 2018, through the ballot box, a change of vision in Mexico was set in motion.
