Motivates young innovators in Irapuato; offers guidance for new ideas and projects / @LorenaAlfaroG @irapuatogob >>>

#Irapuato, #Gto.- To promote innovation and the culture of entrepreneurship among young people, the Government of Irapuato through the Municipal Institute of Youth (Imjuvi) held the event ‘Emprende y Conecta’, which offered workshops, dialogues and lectures to young people, in order to promote the development of their projects.

Lorena Alfaro García, municipal president, invited the young people to get to know and make one of the Casa del Emprendimiento, a space for growth and exchange of ideas, located at 64 Cortázar Street in the Historic Center.

«Today I want to tell you to help us promote this space that belongs to all young people (…) you can go there from 10 in the morning to 6 in the evening, this place is open and you don’t need anything at all to enter and learn about the methodology», she said.

Erick Fernando Ramírez Ramos, a mechatronics engineering student, participated in the 2022 edition and invited other young people to approach the municipal authorities, since they do support new ideas.

«I undertook a life project, which has been promoted thanks to Imjuvi and by our president, Lorena Alfaro, who has bet on the young people of the municipality,» he stressed.

During this event, the call ‘Fomento al valor del Emprendimiento’ was launched, with which economic support of 10 thousand pesos will be given to participants between 18 and 30 years old who present innovative projects; those interested can approach Imjuvi.
