#EstadoDeMéxico.- Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez headed the Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace, where authorities followed up on actions to prevent and eradicate gender violence in each of the 125 municipalities of Mexico.

Those of us who make up the Mesa de Coordinación para la Construcción de la Paz, work on strategies so that you can live more calmly and without fear of going out on the streets. #ElPoderDeServir #TuGobernadora», informed Maestra Delfina Gómez through her social networks.

Upon reviewing the actions undertaken in the four months of her administration, Governor Delfina Gómez reiterated her commitment to work hard to make the state of Mexico a state where women live safely and with peace of mind, in addition to providing them with development opportunities.

She also stressed the importance of strengthening inter-institutional collaboration and the support network for women, girls and adolescents who are victims of gender violence, and making access to justice more efficient.

The 14th session was held in the Guadalupe Victoria Hall of the Government Palace, with the participation of Horacio Duarte Olivares, Secretary General of the Government of the State of Mexico; Mónica Chávez Durán, Secretary of Women; Andrés Andrade Téllez, Secretary of Security; Myrna Araceli García Morón, President of the Human Rights Commission of the State of Mexico (CODHEM); and José Luis Cervantes Martínez, Attorney General of the State of Mexico (FGJEM).
