#Tijuana, #B.C.- The XXIV Tijuana City Hall headed by Mayor Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, through the Municipal Directorate of Attention to Migrants (DMAM), delivered blanket packages to the Carmen Serdán Integral Center for Migrants (CIM) and the Salesian Oratory San Juan Bosco, in an initiative to ensure the welfare of people in the context of mobility.

This act of solidarity was carried out as part of the public policies promoted by Mayor Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, to reinforce the commitment of the Municipal Government in the attention to the migrant population.

The delivery was carried out in coordination with the two reception facilities, fundamental spaces that welcome those who transit through the city in search of better living conditions.

Through this support to the network of shelters that work in coordination with local authorities, dignified and humane conditions are guaranteed for those who arrive in this border city.

Through these actions, the Mayor of Tijuana’s commitment to create a more inclusive and supportive city is strengthened, recognizing the importance of caring for the welfare of all its inhabitants, regardless of their origin or immigration status.

Tijuana is a border that each year receives more than 300 thousand people in condition of mobility and has the support of 33 shelters with the capacity to temporarily house up to 4 thousand 500 people, who come to the city with the hope of a better future.
