#Tlalpan, #CDMX.- For the third year, the government headed by Alfa González Magallanes has implemented the social program «Prevention of Violence, Tlalpan», which provides contact and direct attention to citizens, mainly to women in the towns with more cases of domestic violence, which are San Miguel Topilejo and San Andrés Totoltepec.

The mayor announced that, in terms of violence prevention, this program has benefited 29,126 inhabitants of the district, with a total of 10,600 free psychological and legal counseling services, as well as crime prevention workshops and awareness talks on different types of violence, in the 24 neighborhoods and towns with the highest rates of violence.

«In these two years of government we have walked the streets together with girls, young women and women; in every encounter we have extended our hand to them and we keep telling them that they are not alone. That is why we have focused our social programs on reducing violence,» said the mayor.

In two years, both in the communities and in basic education schools, professionals in psychology, mental health and experts from the General Directorate of Legal Affairs and Government, have given 717 workshops to girls, boys, young people and adults on topics such as crime prevention, bulliyng, dating violence, cyber-bullying, among others.

In addition, 127,155 informative materials such as triptychs and violence meters have been distributed in neighborhoods, neighborhoods and towns, which serve to inform citizens of the different levels and types of violence they may be experiencing.
