#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The mayoress of Tecámac, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, led the ceremony for the birthday of the famous musician and composer Felipe Villanueva, in which she reiterated her gratitude and commitment to the people who entrusted her with the honor of governing the municipality.

During the solemn act at the Rotonda de las Personas Ilustres, she pointed out that thanks to the people of Tecamaquense she has before her a formidable opportunity and challenge, that «I commit myself to honor that trust, always acting with loyalty, always acting with loyalty to the principles and values in which I was formed: honesty and tireless work».

She pointed out that she has the determination to represent the exercise of the highest political responsibility to which one of the people of Tecamaquenses has ever aspired, if the citizens of the State of Mexico so decide.

She said that she appeals to the example and memory of Felipe Villanueva to achieve the same determination as he did in the musical field and «to be a worthy representative of our beloved people in the spaces of political participation to which we aspire».

Before representatives of the City Council and municipal officials, Gutiérrez Escalante said that today is also a special day because it honors the memory of the constituents of Querétaro, who -he mentioned- in 1917 gave Mexico and the world the First Political Constitution of high social content.

She added that one of the greatest achievements of the Constitution is the division of powers and the federal organization of the State, whose fundamental basis is the municipality, which is supported in Article 115 of the Magna Carta.

In this framework, on behalf of the Cabildo, he promulgated the Bando Municipal Tecámac 2024, which he maintained that since 2019 has been structured in a simple and clear way, accessible to the community, with the articles strictly necessary to establish the aims and objectives of the municipal government, its organization and operation, as well as the minimum set of obligations and rights of its inhabitants.
