With more specialized medical equipment, Veracruz expands its healthcare capacity / @CuitlahuacGJ @GobiernoVer >>>

#EstadoDeVeracruz.- With the installation of an angiograph and a tomograph at the High Specialty Hospital of Veracruz, and the receipt of two mastographs for medical units in Boca del Río and Río Blanco, the Government of Veracruz and the Administration of Public Welfare Assets continue to join forces for the welfare of the people.

The first of these devices, used in hemodynamics, uses state-of-the-art technology in the diagnosis of patients with cardiovascular diseases, the leading cause of death in the country, avoiding the need for them to travel to Puebla or Mexico City; its cost amounts to 32.8 million pesos.

The computerized tomography unit for advanced studies with 128 slices, valued at 19.7 million pesos, delivers images of any part of the body and provides an accurate report that allows timely intervention.

Likewise, a digital mastograph arrived at the General Hospital of Boca del Río and another one with stereotaxy and tomosynthesis for the Regional Hospital of Río Blanco, for an amount of 10.4 million pesos, being Veracruz the first entity to receive this equipment in 2024.

Governor Cuitláhuac García Jiménez highlighted the investment of close to 63 million pesos and that the first devices are already in operation, transforming health services for Veracruz citizens; he was accompanied at the reception by the heads of Public Welfare, Adrián Benítez Ruiz, and the Ministry of Health, Guadalupe Díaz del Castillo Flores.
