#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- Through «Mejorando Mi Vivienda», the Municipal Government continues to support San Miguel families by generating options to improve their homes.

In charge of the Municipal Housing Institute (Imuvi), the «Mejorando Mi Vivienda» program is a financing opportunity for home expansion and encourages the development and improvement of homes within the municipality and the quality of life of its inhabitants.

«The objective of this program is to help Sanmiguelenses families to have a decent home. The intention of the mayor (Mauricio Trejo) is that people always have a dignified life and this is one of the main human rights: housing and that is why the (Municipal Housing) Institute is always looking for this program and others to be always booming» expressed Lucrecia Hernandez, director of Imuvi.

Through a credit with a preferential rate lower than any option in commercial banks, «Mejorando Mi Vivienda» allocates funds between $10,000 and $40,000 pesos, exclusively for the acquisition of construction materials, with a two-year financing plan.
