#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- The Mayor of Atizapán de Zaragoza, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, reinforced security in the municipality by handing over to the Director of Public Safety and Municipal Transit, Fabián Ricardo Gómez Calcáneo, a new police module located under the El Campanario Overpass, located on Cuautitlán Izcalli Boulevard.

This structure, which streamlines traffic through the municipality for those entering and leaving Cuautitlán Izcalli and Nicolás Romero, inaugurated just last October, now has this police unit that will serve residents of the Margarita Maza de Juárez and Villas de San José neighborhoods, as well as other nearby neighborhoods, informed the Director of Public Safety and Municipal Transit.

At the inauguration, Rodriguez Villegas pointed out that since the beginning of his government, he arrived without giving pretexts as to whether there were enough patrols and units and that, on the contrary, he began to generate resources and strategies.

He also recognized the strategy of the Municipal Quadrant Surveillance Plan, implemented by Commissioner Gómez Calcáneo, and said that the increase in police salaries and the purchase of patrol cars, among other actions, have contributed to the creation of a solid corporation.

The Commissioner highlighted the strategy of creating impact works such as the El Campanario elevated bridge and developing other complementary works around it.

«We are grateful because within the works that our Municipal President has done, such as this bridge that has benefited a large number of inhabitants, part of this bridge is that it is not an isolated construction, but it is an integral construction to benefit the community. It not only generates road improvements, but also improvements in the conditions of coexistence and security because it has incorporated this new police module in the under bridge», concluded Gómez Calcáneo.
