CESPM begins rehabilitation of the sewage pumping well «Cárcamo» in Los Algodones / @BCGobierno >>>

#EstadoDeBajaCalifornia.- The Comisión Estatal de Servicios Públicos de Mexicali (CESPM) has announced the start of rehabilitation work on the wastewater pumping sump well in the Vicente Guerrero neighborhood in the town of Los Algodones; the work will be carried out from February 28 to the end of April 2024.

The sump well has a pumping capacity of 7.5 liters per second and is essential for the area’s sanitary sewage system. The work includes the construction of a reinforced concrete dry sump, as well as the supply and installation of a centrifugal pump, level sensors and electrical system, in addition to the installation of 8-inch diameter piping and the necessary electrical adjustments.

The total investment for this rehabilitation amounts to 5.4 million pesos, coming from the PROSANEAR program, with financing shared between the National Water Commission (CONAGUA) and CESPM. The main objective of these works is to guarantee the optimal operation of the sanitary sewer system and improve the quality of service for the inhabitants of Los Algodones. With these actions, CESPM reaffirms its commitment to the well-being and quality of life of the community.
