Tecámac preserves the tradition of the Stations of the Cross in its native towns and different communities / @MejorTecamac >>>

#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The Civil Guard of Tecámac, reported the presence of more than 25 thousand people in the streets of this municipality, during the commemorations of the Stations of the Cross in the 12 towns, neighborhoods, communities and subdivisions of this demarcation.

The Civil Guard of Tecámac took care of the ground with proximity units and from the air with drones, cordoned off the passage of believers, at the request of the communities.

In Tecámac, several neighborhoods and native towns revived the tradition of the Stations of the Cross in commemoration of Good Friday, where parishioners gathered on this important date for the Catholic religion.

Among the most popular representations were those of San Jerónimo, Lomas de Tecámac, Los Reyes Acozac and Santa María Ozumbilla.
In addition to Villas del Real and the parishes of Los Héroes de Tecámac and San Juan de los Lagos, where members of the Civil Guard led the liturgical celebrations and popular representations.

To ensure the safety of participants and spectators, the security agency deployed a Holy Week Operation, monitoring the Good Friday performances in the downtown area, neighborhoods, housing units and the 12 original towns, including Ojo de Agua, Santa Cruz, Isidro Fabela, Villa del Real, San Martin Azcatepec, Vista Hermosa and Ejidos de Tecámac.

In addition, security was intensified in the area’s commercial plazas, with the participation of almost 700 elements distributed in the different communities, as well as 50 proximity units, to prevent crime at points considered high risk, such as shopping malls, banking areas, restaurants and cinemas.
