Tecámac’s Animal Welfare Control Unit announces April sterilization schedule  / @MejorTecamac >>>

#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The Municipal Government of Tecámac through the Animal Welfare Control Unit, announced its calendar for the month of April of sterilizations of dogs and cats in different communities of the demarcation, to prevent public health problems due to the excess of uncontrolled pets.

The sterilization campaigns began this Monday, April 1st in the subdivision of Los Héroes San Pablo, where 90 cards were handed out, so that the pets could be operated and avoid the proliferation of these animals on the public streets.

The sterilizations will take place on the 2nd in the 5 de Mayo neighborhood, on the 3rd in the community of Ojo de Agua, 4 Hacienda del Bosque, 9 Ejidos de Tecámac, 10 Héroes de Tecámac Sección Ozumbilla, 11 Héroes Tecámac Sección Jardines, 16 Santo Domingo Ajoloapan, 17 San Pedro Pozohuacan, 18 Héroes Tecámac Sección Bosques, 23 La Esmeralda, 24 San Francisco, 25 Hueyotenco and 30 Real Firenze.

Also, there is the option of scheduling sterilization appointments at the Animal Welfare Control Unit located in Santa María Ozumbilla, according to the days with availability.

In addition to sterilizations, the unit provides basic veterinary consultations, deworming and free rabies vaccination for dogs and cats.
In order for dogs and cats to be operated on, they must have a food fast of 12 hours and a water fast of 8 hours, not be in heat, not be pregnant, not be injured, not be anemic and be older than five months and younger than six years old.
