Health services in the state of Baja California will be on guard this May 1st. / @BCGobierno >>>

#EstadoDeBajaCalifornia.- As part of the Labor Day commemoration, this Wednesday, May 1, health personnel will provide medical and emergency care services 24 hours a day, according to authorities from the State Health Secretariat.

The Mexicali Health Centers that will offer their services in the form of guards on non-working days are the Santa Isabel, Colonia Industrial and Gonzalez Ortega centers, which will offer their services from 7:00 in the morning to 7:00 in the evening. Likewise, the Health Centers of Ciudad Morelos, Guadalupe Victoria (Km 43) and the Community Hospital of San Felipe will provide emergency services 24 hours a day.

The General Hospital informs that the emergency service will provide regular attention to the population in case of medical emergencies, both for children and adults. The Hospital Materno Infantil will continue to provide gynecological, obstetric and neonatal emergency care (newborn babies under 28 days old in very serious condition).

The Ensenada General Hospital will remain active with emergencies, hospitalization and urgent surgeries, while the health centers in rural areas, the CAAPS of Maneadero and Calle Ruiz y 14, will remain open for emergencies.

As for Tijuana, the emergency rooms at the Tijuana, Tecate, Rosarito, Ojo de Agua, Francisco Villa and Florido-Morita Health Centers will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and the General Hospitals of Tijuana, Tecate and Playas de Rosarito will maintain 24-hour emergency, toco-surgery and hospitalization areas in operation.

For the Ministry of Health, it is a priority to guarantee the provision of medical services to the population, regardless of the official days considered as holidays in the official calendar.
