The Creation System and the government of Nuevo León publish the call for proposals Pecda 2024 / @cultura_mx >>>

#Cultura.- The federal Ministry of Culture, through the Creation System (formerly Fonca), and the government of Nuevo León, through the Council for Culture and the Arts, have published the call for the Stimulus Program for Artistic Creation and Development (Pecda) 2024.

Those interested may submit projects in the disciplines of Visual Arts, Dance, Photography, Literature, Audiovisual Media, Music, Cultural Heritage and Theater. The incorporation of new specialties stands out: Performance, Archive, Artificial Intelligence, Photography (analog and/or digital), Stage Direction and Puppet Theater.

The call will award incentives to up to 43 proposals in the following categories: Adolescent creators new talents, for artists between 12 and 17 years old; Young Creators, for people between 18 and 34 years old; Creators with trajectory, for those over 18; Individual artistic development, for stage performers; Dissemination and research of cultural heritage, for researchers and cultural promoters; Artistic groups, for companies and collectives, and Emeritus Creator, in recognition of artists with an outstanding trajectory.

The call can be consulted at sistemacreacion.cultura.gob.mx/ and conarte.org.mx. The registration process will take place from May 7 to June 7, 2024 at foncaenlinea.cultura.gob.mx.
