Government of Tecámac continues with preventive work due to rains / @MejorTecamac >>>

#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The Municipality of Tecámac continues with its preventive work in this rainy season, so Odapas and Environment personnel carry out the cleaning of drainage and streets and avenues and make a call to the population not to throw garbage on public roads.

However, it was not declared exempt from an atypical rain like the one of a few days ago that puts the entire drainage system to the test.

Crews from both municipal agencies have also been working to respond to neighbors’ reports of sewers in poor condition or saturated with waste, in order to avoid possible puddles or flooding.

The Decentralized Public Organization for the Provision of Drinking Water, Sewage and Sanitation Services (ODAPAS) intensified the work, for which it uses pressure pumping with the so-called Vactor, which allows for greater speed and efficiency in these tasks.

This Monday, the crews cleaned sewers in neighborhoods such as Geo Vista Hermosa, Bosques de Los Heroes and Parque Lineal, where garbage and mud were removed from the sewers.

The Municipal Government is on permanent alert with the «Rains 2024» operation, in which 262 public servants are available for any emergency; in addition to 30 vehicles and vans to face any eventuality.

In addition, one hundred Odapas workers, two backhoes, four pressure-suction trucks and 16 vehicles; Civil Protection with 22 elements and eight firefighting units.
