#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- As her first 100 days in office mark, Tecámac Mayor Rosi Wong Romero affirmed that various actions have been taken that indicate that «we are on the right path and that the best is yet to come.» Above all, she emphasized, the continuity of the social and well-being project initiated in 2019 has been achieved.
In a City Council session on the municipal esplanade, where the new auxiliary municipal authorities elected on March 30 were sworn in, she stated that above all, «we are committed to maintaining and increasing the achievements and progress we inherited from the previous two terms.»
She also added that all pending issues must be corrected, modified, or improved, and that the Tecámac of the future must be envisioned as a prosperous, environmentally friendly, safe, and well-connected city, with opportunities for economic and business development for entrepreneurs and young people.
Before the city council, the Government Coordinator for the eastern region, Alejandro Valencia; Senator Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, who attended as a special guest; federal representatives Paty Galindo and Monserrat Ruiz; and local representative Samuel Hernández; as well as delegates and representatives from Copacis, in addition to municipal officials, highlighted the progress made in the first 100 days of this transformative government, which «I can assure you is going very well.»
In terms of revenue collection, he mentioned that the City Council’s own funds were raised by nearly 12% and that of ODAPAS by almost 8%.
He affirmed that the public security service and corporation have been strengthened with the implementation of 25 new patrol cars.
Major projects, such as the Water Park in Héroes, were inaugurated, and more than 30 paving projects, which began in 2024, were completed as required by law. It was announced that 33 projects are planned for this year in educational spaces, among others.
