#GobiernoDeMéxico, #México.– The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, announced an investment of 12 billion pesos (mdp) for the state of Colima in the next two years, which will be invested in priority projects in health, infrastructure, education, drinking water supply and Welfare Programs.
“As we love Colima very much, we love the people of Colima, well, just look at the fact that in the next two years, two and a half years, we are going to allocate a budget of 12 billion pesos to Colima, of which 5 billion are from the Welfare Programs”, he informed during his tour of this state.
He detailed that this investment includes the rehabilitation, as of July 17, of three IMSS Welfare hospitals: the Regional University Hospital, the Manzanillo General Hospital and the Tecomán General Hospital, with an investment of more than 800 million pesos; as well as the construction of a new Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) Hospital in Manzanillo, which will guarantee access to health care.
For the supply of drinking water, he announced an investment of 2.1 billion pesos in projects of the National Water Commission (Conagua) to combat shortages, but also to promote the efficient use of water for farmers, through the Water for Colima program.
