Blindaje Izcalli» attends to 4, 600 calls in two months; Daniel Serrano fulfills the promise in Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico

#CuautitlánIzcalli, #EstadoDeMéxico.- In a press conference “El Poder del Pueblo”, the Municipal President, Daniel Serrano Palacios, reported on the progress of the comprehensive security strategy “Blindaje Izcalli”, implemented last April 22. He highlighted the installation of 210 networks of neighborhood security alarms for peace, incorporating nearly 22 thousand homes and businesses throughout the territory.

He said that 4,600 emergency calls have been received and attended, of which 2,244 required attention, representing 92.3 percent of the total, while 350 requests were test calls, equivalent to 7.6 percent, and only 6 calls turned out to be false, representing only 0.1 percent.

In order to provide a more immediate response to calls for help, the territory of Cuautitlán Izcalli was strategically divided into 75 proximity quadrants, in which patrols are carried out in 97 units equipped with video cameras and satellite trackers that show in real time the location and visualization of the exterior and interior of the unit.

Likewise, he said, a command center was installed in the office of the presidency, which allows the visualization of statistics in real time on the actions of each stage of the security strategy.

Mayor Daniel Serrano explained the response times from the call for help, specifying that the unit that took the longest to arrive did so in 5 minutes and 49 seconds, while the one that took the least time to arrive did so in only 2 minutes and 54 seconds.

“The monitor takes 17 seconds to respond, one minute 26 seconds for the dispatcher and 5 minutes and 30 seconds for the unit, averaging a response in 7.13 minutes, although the goal is to reduce response times by half, that is, 3.5 minutes.”

Daniel Serrano specified that the times when most crimes are committed have been modified in the last two months, derived from the intensification of several operations, including transportation.

“Until a couple of months ago, around 5 o’clock in the morning was the time when most crimes were committed, now they occur around 11 o’clock at night, so we are taking the necessary precautions to deter them”.
