A 21-year-old man was admitted with burns caused by an electric shock, and a multidisciplinary team of general, plastic, and reconstructive surgery specialists from the Social Security Institute immediately treated him.

The head of the Decentralized Administrative Operations Body (OOAD) of the IMSS in Chihuahua, Dr. José Antonio Zamudio González, reported that this unit was integrated into the more than 40 specialties offered by RGI No. 2, including hemodialysis and hemodynamics services.

The Social Security official noted that with this addition to the IMSS infrastructure, medical care is strengthened and the quality of services for Chihuahuan residents is improved, especially in a sector of high demand in the state.
