#SecretaryofWellbeing, #Mexico.– To continue making progress in reducing poverty and bringing well-being to all corners of the country, 16 Mexican government agencies and institutions signed the General Collaboration Agreement for Well-being Programs. This agreement aims to commit to continuing to work to strengthen the well-being and rights policy for Mexicans to continue reducing poverty and reach the most vulnerable groups, such as Indigenous peoples and communities.
Within the framework of the signing of the agreement, the Mexican government, the Ministries of Well-being; Agriculture and Rural Development; Public Education; Labor and Social Security; Agrarian, Territorial, and Urban Development; The institutions: Banco del Bienestar, the National Housing Commission (Conavi), the Financiera para el Bienestar (Finabien), the National Institute of Indigenous Peoples (INPI), the National Aquaculture and Fisheries Commission (Conapesca), Infonavit, IMSS-Bienestar, ISSSTE, the Mexican Postal Service (Sepomex), and the Telecommunications Investment Promotion Agency (Promtel) all agreed on the importance of continuing to work together for the good of the people.
The Secretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, noted that the Transformation governments found in coordination and organization the right formula to address poverty in Mexico, which has allowed 13.4 million Mexicans today to live with a better quality of life, but the task continues to continue to advance in the fight against poverty.
«We must continue working to combat poverty and extreme poverty, and there is still a significant effort to be made, and this has more to do with resources than with organization,» stated Secretary Montiel Reyes, adding that all issues must be addressed in all the programs that President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo has proposed and coordinated with her team.
