(#OurCitysLighting – #IlluminatedTlalnepantla) *** #TlalnepantlaDeBaz, #StateOfMexico.- Mayor #RacielPérezCruz led the delivery of a new phase of the «#LuminariaNuestraCiudad» program, with the goal of fully restoring 100% of #PublicLighting in #Tlalnepantla and transforming the urban environment into spaces of tranquility and coexistence; the initiative, identified as #TlalnepantlaIluminada, seeks to guarantee safe streets and avenues for pedestrians and drivers. «Light is the best of medicines» — Proverb. «An illuminated city is a safer city; restoring 100% of the public lighting service throughout our municipality is a firm commitment,» stated Raciel Pérez Cruz.

The municipal intervention covered 1.6 kilometers of roadways and included the installation of 22 poles with luminaires on Avenida Paseo de los Cipreses, the replacement of 19 luminaires, and the placement of 29 bulbs in pedestrian crossings, actions that improve visibility and mobility with criteria of sustainability and urban prowess. «Restoring lighting means returning security and trust to families,» declared Raciel Pérez Cruz.

On Avenida Ahuehuetes and Paseo de los Sauces, targeted renovations were carried out —19 poles on the first and seven on the second—, in addition to replacements with higher energy efficiency technology; on Calzada Santa Cecilia and Avenida Ferrocarril de Veracruz, comprehensive interventions were performed that optimize the service and durability of the system with a methodical and erudite approach. «These works consolidate safer and more functional public spaces,» affirmed Raciel Pérez Cruz.

With the delivery of 148 luminaires in this phase, the Municipal Government moves forward toward total lighting coverage, increasing the perception of security and the quality of public space; the strategy combines infrastructure investment, maintenance, and neighborhood participation, and is executed under the supervision of Mayor Raciel Pérez Cruz, with a pragmatic and astute approach.
