Mexico and Japan hold their XII Meeting of the Committee for the Improvement of Business Environment

#Secretaría de Economía . –  The XII Meeting of the Committee for the Improvement of the Mexico-Japan Business Environment (CIBE) was held this Tuesday, derived from the Agreement for the Strengthening of the Economic Partnership (EPA), established in 2005 between both countries.

The meeting was chaired by the Undersecretary of Foreign Trade, Luz María de la Mora, and the Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Kentaro Uesugi. The meeting was attended by representatives of the private sector from both countries, including members of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mexico, the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology and the National Agricultural Council.

Also participating were various government agencies and organizations such as the Federal Commission for Protection against Health Risks, the Tax Administration Service, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation, the National College of Technical Professional Education, the National Center for Teacher Training, the Mexican Social Security Institute, the Ministry of Tourism and the National Guard.
