#TecámacDeFelipeVillanueva, #EstadoDeMéxico. – Accompanied by Brig. Gen. D.E.M César Augusto Bonilla Orozco, Commander of the 37th Military Zone, the operational director of the Tecámac Civil Guard, Luis Enrique Serna García and the flag escorts of about 100 educational institutions of basic and high school level of the municipality of Tecámac, Mayoress Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante commemorated the 82nd Anniversary of the Mexican Flag. This celebration was proclaimed for the first time on February 24, 1940, by decree of President Lázaro Cárdenas.

In this event, the incineration of the flag and the standardization of the escorts of each institution present, including those of the Tecámac Civil Guard and the Civil Protection Coordination, were also carried out by the Mayor, the Commander of the 37th ZM and the municipal body.

Enrique Serna García, on his part, emphasized the importance and value of the Mexican Flag, as a Patriotic Symbol, emblematic for its history, independence, nationality and patriotism.

In closing, the Mayoress thanked the guests for their presence and pointed out that the Mexican flag, besides being a patriotic symbol, is an element of unity, value and patriotism for Mexicans and, of course, for the people of Tecamaquenses.
