The Ministry of Economy celebrates the conclusion of the vote for the collective bargaining agreement at the Tridonex plant

#SecretaríaDeEconomía. – The Ministry of Economy celebrates the conclusion of the recount process at the Tridonex plant, located in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, which took place on February 28, and which was carried out respecting the workers’ right to vote personally, freely, directly and secretly.

The active participation of Mexican government officials, through the Federal Conciliation and Arbitration Board (JFCA) and inspectors from the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare is recognized in this process. The participation of the Federal Center for Labor Conciliation and Registration as an observer is also noteworthy.

The Government of Mexico reiterates its commitment to the effective application of the provisions established in the Treaty between Mexico, the United States and Canada (T-MEC) and in national legislation, thus guaranteeing transparency and certainty for Mexican workers.
