DIF Celaya delivers eyeglasses to Senior Citizens in some communities

#Celaya, #Gto.- On Wednesday morning at the Gerontological Center of San Juan de la Vega, belonging to DIF Celaya in coordination with DIF of the state, the delivery of glasses was made to seniors, from that and other communities such as San Nicolas de Esquiros, San Elias and San Jose de Yustis.

A total of 44 pairs of glasses were delivered and authorities from the Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia were present.

The President of the Board of Trustees, Rosaria Suarez de Mendoza, the Operational Director of DIF, Marcelo Reynoso Dorado and the Coordinator of the Elderly Area, Adriana Cardenas Ruiz, were in charge of the delivery.

In terms of visual health, DIF Celaya continues working to generate welfare for the elderly, as well as the entire population that requires it.

«Today we are delivering 44 pairs of glasses for the benefit of our seniors. In health issues it is important to continue generating both eye exams and the supply of glasses,» said Adriana Cardenas.
