Mayor JM Unánue supervises the cleaning of the Dren B canal

#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- Before the arrival of the rainy season, the Boca del Río City Hall, headed by Mayor Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, carried out cleaning and dredging works of the channel located in the Dren B area.

«The pluvial drain called Dren B, which is located in the northwest portion of the municipality and is divided into three fractions will be cleaned; the ‘B’ which runs in an east-west direction along Pino Street, starts at Diaz Ordaz Street and flows into the Zamorana Canal.

«The ‘B1’ that starts at Cándido Aguilar Avenue and/or 8th Street, runs along 43rd Avenue or Díaz Ordaz Street, continues along Altamirano Street until it connects with the last fraction; the ‘B2’ which continues along 47th Avenue towards the south, until it flows into the Moreno Stream in the eastern fraction,» he explained.

Likewise, the mayor explained that they are recovering lirio, garbage, cleaning tragatomentas with heavy machinery and specialized personnel, clarifying that «the water levels do not represent any risk of flooding», so they will continue to be aware of all areas of Boca del Rio.
