Boca del Río Philharmonic Orchestra will be conurbada; will give concerts at the Foro Boca and Clavijero theater

#Veracruz, #Ver.- With the aim of strengthening culture and the arts in the metropolitan area, the mayor of Veracruz, Patricia Lobeira de Yunes, and the mayor of Boca del Río, Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, announced the collaboration between the two municipalities and Foro Boca for the strengthening and dissemination of culture and the arts.

Mayor Patricia Lobeira de Yunes highlighted that this is an example of how the sum of wills achieves great things. «The City Councils and the Boca Forum agreed to join efforts with the purpose of promoting and disseminating the development of culture, education and the arts with a main focus on the consolidation of the Boca del Río Philharmonic Orchestra, giving the necessary support for its protection, conservation and dissemination.»

Both mayors informed that the Francisco Javier Clavijero Theater will also become the home of the Philharmonic Orchestra, alternating its presentations with the Boca Forum.

She informed that this new project will begin with the reopening of the Foro Boca and the presentation of the Philharmonic Orchestra, in the city where it was born, Boca del Río, having as special guest the one who is considered today the best violinist in the world, Joshua Bell; the concert will be on Tuesday, June 14, at 8:00 p.m., in the Mester Hall of the Foro Boca.
